How GenGle Works
From registration to your first event: everything you need to know to use GenGle and find friendships among single parents.
Getting started on GenGle
Register for free
Create your profile with basic information: name, province, children's ages. Registration is free and takes just a few minutes. Your profile is verified to ensure community safety.
Explore events
Search for events in your area using the interactive map or province filter. You'll find outings, aperitivos, kids' activities and much more, organized by parents like you.
Join an event
Sign up for an event with one click, choose which children to bring, and show up on the day. The first step is always the hardest — and GenGle members are welcoming people.
Build your network
After your first event, add people as friends, chat with them, and discover more events. Your friendship network grows naturally, one event at a time.
The Forum
The Forum is the GenGle community space. Here you can start discussions, ask for advice, share experiences, and engage with other single parents on any topic: from managing kids to cooking, from travel to personal growth.
Every post can receive comments and votes from the community. The most useful content naturally rises to the top. The forum is moderated to ensure a respectful and constructive environment.
Chat and messages
GenGle offers group chats organized by province: a simple way to meet single parents near you, organize spontaneous outings, and stay connected with the local community.
You can also send private messages to other members to deepen friendships or plan activities together. All in a safe and moderated environment.
Safety and reliability
Safety is a top priority on GenGle. Every profile is verified and the community self-moderates through a reliability system: those who participate regularly and follow the rules earn trust, while those who don't show up to events without canceling lose reliability.
Regional coordinators and tutors help new members settle in. A reporting system allows inappropriate behavior to be identified and managed quickly and transparently.
Roles in the community
Tutor
Experienced members who welcome and guide new members, helping them take the first step and feel at home in the community.
Regional coordinator
Single parents who coordinate activities in their region, organize events, and promote the community locally.
Event organizer
Any member can propose and organize an event for the community: all you need is an idea — GenGle provides the tools.
Subscriptions and plans
GenGle is free for basic features: registration, event participation, forum, and provincial chat are accessible to everyone at no cost.
There are currently no paid plans available for purchase in the app. If plans are introduced, their prices, terms and included features will be shown clearly before purchase.
