GenGle and Meeters
People were looking for what I was looking for too: someone with the same interests to spend time with. This is the common ground of the two communities, the starting point for building a shared path.
Giuditta Pasotto
Founder of GenGle
From separation to creating GenGle, the first community for single parents.
I'm a single mom, and it was precisely from my needs as a single mom that a light bulb went on: I thought it would be a good idea to join forces with other single parents, create a network, help each other, share things to do. We understand each other, we have similar needs. Rebuilding a social network after separation was really difficult, but not anymore!
Davide Zanon
Founder of Meeters
From an idea to more than 40,000 people meeting up.
I was passionate about photography and travel and felt the need to share my experiences with other people. So I decided to organize photography meetups around the most instagrammable places in Italy. By the fourth outing, there were 50 of us. It wasn't photography that was the reason, but the pleasure of living memorable moments together. From that moment, Meeters was born.
The counter-current social
While Facebook invests in the Metaverse and virtual reality, GenGle and Meeters go against the current by valuing real life and human relationships. We want to enable people to meet new people with similar interests and share experiences ranging from an aperitif to a cultural activity to a holiday, with the possibility of sharing these activities with their children too.
A trattoria in the age of fast food!
The people in Meeters and GenGle are people going through a phase of change, a rebirth, and they share a desire to laugh, meet new people and have fun. It's precisely through the meeting of common interests that this great richness is born: you feel part of a group, a real community.
The six rules to be part of it
To live in a community, it's fundamental to share its philosophy and respect its rules. Just as in respecting priorities in a queue, where each person has their turn, in our community every rule is important and must be respected with common sense.
Complete your profile
Everyone likes to know who's on the other side and who will participate in the proposed event.
Let's engage with respect
We are people, each with our own sensitivity. "Keyboard warriors" are not welcome.
Participate consciously
Taking a spot knowing you won't participate means depriving someone else of the opportunity to take that spot.
Pass it forward
For all of us, there was a person who made a difference in welcoming us. Let's try to do the same.
Respect privacy
Let's avoid voyeurism so that beautiful things happen offline.
Be yourself
We believe that being part of a community doesn't require rigid rules, just common sense and respect for others.
